Magnets and Memories.

Wherever we go, we collect magnets.
It’s like we bring a little part of the place we went to with us.
A Venetian mask. A cow from Switzerland.
The adorable houses from Bruges.

Wherever we go, we collect memories.
And think about them whenever we want to.
The autos in Thailand, the Eiffel tower.
Such happy times, such beautiful memories. :’)

So, a day with my friends.
We’re lovely people. We really are. We’re just a little obsessed with clicking pictures.
Every time we meet, we click a thousand pictures.
We do it for a reason.
Because, when we look at the pictures later, we can live it all again.
‘Every picture tells a story’ I heard somewhere. Well, it’s true.
And these pictures with my friends, tell me all about the fun we had, of how whenever we’re together we have the time of our lives.
One of my closest friends, shifted to America.
We met after an year.
Aaah, we had an years amount of fun in just one day.
And clicked a thousand pictures.
Spent the whole day together. With everyone.
That’s what I love about us. We could not meet for a whole year, but when we finally meet, it’s like we were never apart.

So, yes. We’ll always be photo-obsessed crazy idiots. And with every new picture, we’ll have a new story.
The love just keeps increasing. :’)

Take a line from a song that you love or connect with. Now forget the song, and turn that line into the title or inspiration for your post.

“Don’t listen to a word I say, these screams all sound the same.
Though the truth may vary but, this ship will carry our bodies safe to shore.”

I don’t know why I like this song.
Maybe it’s the tune. It’s just a nice song.

I don’t quite understand this line. But somehow it just suggests, that in the end, after all the difficulties, all the lies, all the hardships we will safely reach wherever we want to be.
Maybe that’s what draws me to this song. Or maybe it’s the optimism, or the fact that it’s a happy song. Or maybe it’s just the really catchy tune. 😉

Music of life.

Music is what life sounds like. -Eric Olsen

Life without music is no life at all.
And it doesn’t mean you have to be a singer or play an instrument, to understand music. You just need to listen to your soul.
You may be the worst singer in the world, but if you have music in your heart, you cannot be an unhappy person.
As someone said ‘He who sings scares away his woes.’ 🙂

No music, No life. Know music, know life. 🙂

Music is what feelings sound like.
It feeds happiness to the soul.
Ask yourselves, how do we celebrate our happiness? We sing, we dance, we clap, we cheer, we laugh.
If this isn’t music then what is?
Music is not just the technical stuff, the chords, the compositions.
It isn’t about how many singers you know, or how many genres you listen to.
Play the music, not the instrument.  ~Author Unknown

Silence, when everything is quite.
When you don’t speak, You don’t express.
When nothing is certain, nothing is heard
But even silence has it’s own music. A music which is louder than words. 🙂
Silence is more musical than any song.  ~Christina Rossetti

If we think about it, we started singing even before we could talk.
We could feel the music in our hearts as infants, so why can’t we now?
That’s the problem about growing up, losing our rhythm.
The worries of everyday life, they force us to forget.
When music is the only thing that keeps us going, we choose to ignore it.
We complain, we stress, but don’t realize what we’re keeping away.
Music enhances the ability to be happy.
Music is forever; music should grow and mature with you, following you right on up until you die.  ~Paul Simon

To be happy, to be cheerful, we need to keep our music alive.
Because not only does this make us happy, but helps us spread happiness.
It restores the skip in your walk and the twinkle in your eye 🙂
I don’t sing because I’m happy, I’m happy because I sing.  ~William James

As i end this post, i’d like to mention my friend Srishti Sood, who not only gave me the idea of writing this post, but also to listened me when my music was gone 😉
Keep your music alive. And then you’ll learn how to live 😀

“Thank you for the music, the songs I’m singing
Thanks for all the joy they’re bringing
Who can live without it, I ask in all honesty
What would life be?
Without a song or a dance what are we?
So I say thank you for the music
For giving it to me” -Abba

So many..

So many stories to tell, so many secrets to hide.
So many people to love, so many reasons to cry.
So many times to remember, so many things to forget.
So many smiles, so many tears.
So many chances, so many fears.
So many moments to cherish, so many goodbyes.
So many new friends, so many things to live by.
So many jokes to laugh at, so many friends to meet.
So many tunes to dance on, till you can’t feel your feet.
So many things to do, so many fears to face.
So many promises, so many mistakes.
So many awkward situations, so many hearts to break.
So many surprises, so many things to lose.
So many pictures to be clicked, so many options to choose.
So many movies to watch, so many things to hate.
So many plans to make, so many times to just procrastinate.
So many cries of joy, so many hugs and kisses.
So many people to miss, so many faces to forget.
So many names you can’t remember, so many books you haven’t read.
So many places you’ve never gone, so many times you felt alone.
So many things still left to say, so many rules to disobey.
So many games to be played, so many things you’d like to trade.
So many things you’d like to give, so many reasons left to live. 🙂
