Take a line from a song that you love or connect with. Now forget the song, and turn that line into the title or inspiration for your post.

“Don’t listen to a word I say, these screams all sound the same.
Though the truth may vary but, this ship will carry our bodies safe to shore.”

I don’t know why I like this song.
Maybe it’s the tune. It’s just a nice song.

I don’t quite understand this line. But somehow it just suggests, that in the end, after all the difficulties, all the lies, all the hardships we will safely reach wherever we want to be.
Maybe that’s what draws me to this song. Or maybe it’s the optimism, or the fact that it’s a happy song. Or maybe it’s just the really catchy tune. 😉

Music of life.

Music is what life sounds like. -Eric Olsen

Life without music is no life at all.
And it doesn’t mean you have to be a singer or play an instrument, to understand music. You just need to listen to your soul.
You may be the worst singer in the world, but if you have music in your heart, you cannot be an unhappy person.
As someone said ‘He who sings scares away his woes.’ 🙂

No music, No life. Know music, know life. 🙂

Music is what feelings sound like.
It feeds happiness to the soul.
Ask yourselves, how do we celebrate our happiness? We sing, we dance, we clap, we cheer, we laugh.
If this isn’t music then what is?
Music is not just the technical stuff, the chords, the compositions.
It isn’t about how many singers you know, or how many genres you listen to.
Play the music, not the instrument.  ~Author Unknown

Silence, when everything is quite.
When you don’t speak, You don’t express.
When nothing is certain, nothing is heard
But even silence has it’s own music. A music which is louder than words. 🙂
Silence is more musical than any song.  ~Christina Rossetti

If we think about it, we started singing even before we could talk.
We could feel the music in our hearts as infants, so why can’t we now?
That’s the problem about growing up, losing our rhythm.
The worries of everyday life, they force us to forget.
When music is the only thing that keeps us going, we choose to ignore it.
We complain, we stress, but don’t realize what we’re keeping away.
Music enhances the ability to be happy.
Music is forever; music should grow and mature with you, following you right on up until you die.  ~Paul Simon

To be happy, to be cheerful, we need to keep our music alive.
Because not only does this make us happy, but helps us spread happiness.
It restores the skip in your walk and the twinkle in your eye 🙂
I don’t sing because I’m happy, I’m happy because I sing.  ~William James

As i end this post, i’d like to mention my friend Srishti Sood, who not only gave me the idea of writing this post, but also to listened me when my music was gone 😉
Keep your music alive. And then you’ll learn how to live 😀

“Thank you for the music, the songs I’m singing
Thanks for all the joy they’re bringing
Who can live without it, I ask in all honesty
What would life be?
Without a song or a dance what are we?
So I say thank you for the music
For giving it to me” -Abba
